Reality TV With a Bite

Leaning against an old concrete wall, Psycho Pete took a second to catch his breath and plan his next move.  He could hear the shuffling footsteps and guttural moans of the dead off in the distance.  He knew he had only a couple of minutes, or maybe three, before they grew near.

           
He rubbed his aching head and wondered how he'd gotten here.  Taking another second, he looked around at the fortified penitentiary and instantly recognized it as the main set to the hit reality show, Eaten Alive...

Hi, my name is...

Chad Case.  Not Chad Chase.  Here lately I've had three stories accepted for three different anthologies from Static Movement and I'm excited about that.  However, when I checked out their forum I saw that they had me listed as Chad Chase - even though every story clearly states: Chad Case.  I know that this is probably just an oversight, and that they'll have it right when the book comes out.  But this is something that has plagued me my whole life.  I've heard it since I was a kid and have been corrected people since that time.  Oh, well, it's too late now to changed my name.  I just felt like I needed to introduce myself once again.  Later, Chad Case.  Not Chad Chase.
